Requirements for testing car lights in various countries
EU: E-Mark certification, all external lighting and light signal devices of motor vehicles must pass E-Mark to enter the EU market. Its testing items include general regulations, illuminance/intensity/luminosity, chromaticity, plastic lens testing, LED module testing, shape and size, environmental testing, photoelectric parameters, position and size, ultraviolet radiation;
North America: DOT certification, all motor vehicle exterior lighting and light signal devices must meet testing requirements and be registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation DOT and have the corresponding DOT logo engraved on the product. In addition, entering the US market may also consider the American industry certification AMECA certification as appropriate
Australia: ADR certification, according to the Australian ADR regulatory standards, its certification process includes filling in application materials, testing, rectification (if any), registration, and completing registration;
Brazil: INMETRO certification, mainly based on Regulation no. 301 of 07/21/2011, for the certification of light bulbs for passenger and commercial vehicles;
Argentina: CHAS certification, which certifies external lighting and light signal devices for motor vehicles in accordance with UN Regulations and IRAM AITA 10031 standards,
