Starting from January 1, 2023, Brazil's heavy-duty vehicles will begin mandatory implementation of the P8 emission phase, which sets higher requirements for vehicle environmental performance. In June 2024, WANVE obtained approval from the Brazilian Ministry of Environmental Protection (IBAMA) to conduct the first Brazilian P8 emission certification experiment in China.

From August 12th to August 26th, 2024, a team of Brazilian experts conducted a two-week eyewitness authentication at the testing center. According to the requirements of the organization, WANVE engineers conducted a pre audit of the laboratory in advance, interpreted regulations to customers, and developed testing plans. During the certification period, WANVE assisted Brazilian experts in explaining the problems encountered in the experiment in a timely manner and provided improvement solutions, ultimately successfully completing the certification test.

The successful completion of the domestic P8 certification experiment marks an important step for WANVE in the field of Brazilian emission certification. Opening a new chapter for Chinese car companies to enter the Brazilian market. WANVE will continue to provide professional certification services for domestic car companies.
