KC (Korea Certification) is also known as KCC (Korea Communications Commission) certification. This is a product certification system in South Korea aimed at ensuring that products comply with relevant safety and technical standards to protect consumer rights and promote product quality improvement. Obtaining KC certification is very important for companies that want to enter the Korean market, as it is one of the legal requirements for selling and using products in Korea
Normally, products that require KC certification include telecommunications equipment, communication equipment, information technology equipment, household appliances, industrial machinery, medical equipment, etc. Products that have obtained KC certification can be sold and used in the Korean market.
Certification process
1. Choose a certification body: First, select a qualified certification body that needs to be recognized by KCC.
2. Submit Application: Submit an application to the selected certification body, including detailed product information, technical documentation, test reports, etc.
3. Product testing: Certification bodies will conduct testing on products to ensure compliance with relevant safety and technical standards in Korea.
4. Review and Evaluation: The review agency will review and evaluate the test results to confirm whether the product meets KC certification requirements.
5. Issuing certification certificate: If the product passes the testing and audit, the certification body will issue a KC certification certificate, indicating that the product complies with relevant standards and regulations in Korea.
