KATRI certification

Definition

The certification of car lights is carried out by the Korea Automotive Evaluation Technology Research Institute (KATRI). KATRI is a technology research institution in the automotive industry in South Korea, equipped with advanced experimental equipment and technical experts, capable of conducting comprehensive testing and evaluation of various types of vehicles and components. For applicants for car lamp certification, they need to submit corresponding application materials and product samples to KATRI, and then KATRI will conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation.

In the car light certification test, experts will test the beam direction, beam pattern, light intensity and other performance of the car lights to ensure that they meet the standard requirements. Durability and waterproofness are also important aspects of car lamp certification. During the testing process, experts will conduct multiple cyclic tests and simulated rain tests on the car lights to evaluate their durability and waterproof performance in harsh environments.
