1、 GSO update content

On January 2, 2025, GSO opened certificate applications for the 2026MY system. Compared to the 2025MY system, there have been no other changes to the certificate application system except for the model year being changed to 2025MY and 2026MY.

In addition, the UAE's Euro 6B emission requirements are still based on the 2025MY certificate template information used in the GCC system.

2、 Other precautions

In addition, it should be noted that March is the month of Ramadan, and GSO does not arrange external factory audits or sample vehicle testing. There will be holidays such as Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha in early April and June. Customers are advised to plan ahead and input factory audits and testing arrangements in advance to obtain certification on schedule.

In addition, GSO also released the fifth version of the 2026MY regulatory list on January 2, 2025. Compared to the fourth edition of the regulatory list, it only applies to passenger protection and environmental aspects in the Saudi market. In addition to accepting EU regulatory requirements, it also recognizes American standards.
